Conditions of Registration

REGISTRATION INCLUDES

• entire Scientific program
• Welcome Reception
• morning and afternoon teas and buffet lunches on the conference days
• Posters and Wine sessions

PAYMENT

• Merchant facilities are provided by Magic Touch. All fees are in AUD and all payment are to be received in AUD.
• Payment can be made on-line at eWay's secure, on-line payment site, or by cheque.
  Credit cards accepted are: MasterCard and Visa
• On-line payment confirmation is by e-mail, received immediately
• When paying by cheque, you will receive acknowledgement of payment when the deposit is cleared

Please retain your password details and registration number. Tax invoices are printed out over the net.

MTCi supports responsible use of on-line credit card transactions and reports suspected fraudulent activity to Federal police and the Immigration office.

CANCELLATION

• Cancellations should be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat.

REFUNDS

• Cancellations received prior to January 11, 2008 will receive a refund less an administration fee of AUD$100
• No refunds are made after January 11, 2009
• Refunds on hotel rooms are at the hotel's discretion

Substitute delegates: will be accepted at no extra charge - please notify Magic Touch in writing of changes.

SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

• Welcome Reception, included in registration fee
• Tuesday evening Harbour Cocktail Cruise (1.5 hours) - cost of AUD20. Check the box on the extras form with registration to reserve your place. If already registered, eMail the Secretariat to have this added to your account. (This event is subsidised by the conference)
• Conference Dinner on Wednesday night: The STAR ROOM at the" top of Darling Harbour"! Tickets at AUD88/plate; Guest tickets available. Check the box on the extras form with registration to reserve your place.
• NB: Entry to all of the above is by name badge/entree ticket.

ABSTRACTS/POSTER PRESENTATIONS

• Abstracts are submitted on-line with registration. Please follow the instructions in the registration form.
• Payment need not be made at the time of registration. Reminders are sent.
• Closing dates etc. are listed on the website
• The language of the conference is English and all presentations - podium or poster - should be in English.

TRAVEL AND VISA

• All visitors to Australia require a Visa and current passport. Visa must be obtained in country of residence BEFORE entry to Australia
• If eligible, electronic visas are quick and cost-effective. Check the visa section of the website
• Please check with your travel agent for details and forms
• With tighter security, longer processing times are required. Allow 2 months
• Early booking of flights is advised, as flights to Australia do book out

ACCOMMODATION

• There is limited hotel accommodation booked for the conference, so please book and pay for accommodation early, otherwise delegates may have to book their own accommodation needs.
• Hotel accommodation is room only
• Accommodation must be paid in full before the meeting
• Refund of cancelled accommodation is at the hotel's discretion

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Committee and Conference Organiser do not accept responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation of the meeting.

We advise all delegates to take out personal travel and health insurance.

The organisers reserve the right to change the Program and ExhibItion layout without notice.
